I have been wearing pants for the last couple of weeks and I really needed a break. I really like skirts and boots etc. But I feel like I was deceived by the weatherman. This skirt is ridiculously warm. So wear with caution. But I figured if I went lighter (weight-wise) on top, I would be okay. This was a good idea. But I was not the only one at work that feared she had dressed to warmly for the work environment. Either way, this skirt always makes me happy. I love tweed and a colored tweed in colors that I like is always fabulous! I have been sore from my workouts the last 2 days and really needed flat shoes. The flats I wore are a patent black loafer, but the CeCe ballet flat shown above is a good substitute.

ReplyDeleteHey, it's Melissa from your SITS Tribe. I find a pair of scandalously high heels always helps me out of a rut.
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm in a fashion rut, I typically go through some of my former #ootd posts on Instagram to help my mojo return. ;) Stopping by to say hi fellow tribe member! ;) Looking forward to getting to know you more!
ReplyDeleteI find that going through my closet will get me out of a fashion rut. It's fun to rediscover items you rarely wear or have never worn.

What I love about this outfit is the color! It is easy to feel in a rut with lackluster color options, but this is a way to stand out and do WINTER in a cheerful way! - Meredith (SITS)
